No-show and cancellation policy
1. Binding nature of the reservation
Reservations made through the Divent platform or inquiry form become binding upon confirmation by the respective partner restaurant. By booking, the customer confirms that the specified number of people and menu selection are binding for the reserved event.
2. Cancellation of the reservation
Cancellation or changes to the number of people reserved are generally possible.
The following deadlines apply:
Up to 48 hours before the event
Changes to the number of people or cancellations are possible free of charge.24 to 48 hours before the event
Changes can only be made after consultation with the partner restaurant.Less than 24 hours before the event
Changes to the number of people are generally no longer possible.
3. No-shows by guests
Since the partner restaurant shops, prepares and schedules staff based on the confirmed number of guests,
The following rules apply to guests who do not appear.
Should three or more confirmed guests fail to attend the event, the partner restaurant may charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the agreed menu price per absent person.
Example:
Reservation: 12 people
Attendees: 9 people
Not present: 3 people
The restaurant can charge 50% of the menu price for each of these three people.
This regulation serves to compensate for the incurred preparation and material costs.
4. Basis of calculation
The cancellation fee is calculated solely on the basis of the agreed menu price (e.g. €50, €60 or €70 per person).
Drinks or additional orders are not affected by this policy.
5. Payment processing
The no-show fee will be billed by the respective partner restaurant as part of the final event invoice. Divent acts solely as an organizational intermediary in this process.
6. Agreement to the regulation
By submitting the booking request, the customer expressly confirms having read and accepted this no-show and cancellation policy. Agreement is given via a mandatory checkbox in the booking form.
